PTC 200

General Description

The MJ Research PTC 200 DNA Engine Cycler is a gradient thermal cycler. It features interchangeable sample blocks and heat pump asemblies, a hot bonnet for oil-free operation, and precise heat pumps designed for repeated cycling. It has a temperature range from -5 to 105°C and a 200 program memory with individually secured directories.

Thermal control is achieved by either block, in-sample probe, or calculated methods. Heating rates up to 3°C/second reduce reaction times while ±0.4°C temperature homogeneity can be reached within 30 seconds at 90°C. The Hot Bonnet heated lid controls pressure and height to accommodate various plasticwares.
