The American Society For Cell Biology is a non-profit organization made up of approximately 9000 members from the U.S. and more than 65 countries around the world.  The BioSurplus team was on hand for the ASCB’s annual meeting, held this year from December 15th to the 19th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

Fred Hill, vice-president, auction services, Robert Kum, business development manager, Northern California and Pacific Northwest, and Zack Prag and Jim Hower, both members of our sales team, were at our booth where they met with researchers, students, speakers and a wide variety of conference attendees.

In keeping with the BioSurplus spinner flask tradition, we gave away $500 cash to a lucky conference-goer.  Congratulations to our winner Shambhavi Singh, who’s a student at Grand Valley State Univeristy in Michigan.  We hope you had as great a time as we did at the conference.

And thank you to Marjorie Liggett, who so graciously helped us to pick the spinner flask winner!  (See photo below.)
